Our country will be celebrating its Independence Day this weekend, and this year, there is no shortage of opportunities for fun with the family.
THURSDAY, JULY 1ST
Bring your family and come out to enjoy the 4TH OF JULY TROOPER ALLEN FAMILY PICNIC at Enforcer Educational Services, LLC on Hwy 75 just south of Fairfield, Texas city limits.
Event will begin at 12:00 noon.
Enjoy a Meet and Greet, bring a picnic, and enjoy the activites with your children.
Hosted by the Trooper Damon C. Allen Memorial Foundation.
Event is FREE.

Later that evening, travel a few minutes west to Teague for the kick-off RODEO PARADE beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Main Street.
Horses, buggies, bikes, and floats will be covered in red, white and blue.
Follow the parade to the rodeo grounds for the first night of the 91ST ANNUAL TEAGUE 4TH OF JULY UPRA-CPRA RODEO will be held in Teague, Texas on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Performances will be held nightly at 8:00 p.m.
The annual rodeo features Bareback Riding, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc and Team Roping – plus, the World Famous Wild Cow Milking!
Tickets at the gate are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 & under.
FRIDAY, JULY 2ND
Second night of the 91ST ANNUAL TEAGUE 4TH OF JULY UPRA-CPRA RODEO in Teague, Texas beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets at the gate are $10 for adults, $5 for kids 12 & under.
SATURDAY, JULY 3RD
The FOURTH OF JULY PARADE is back at Southside Shores at Richland Chamber Lake.
Parade will be Saturday, July 3rd beginning at 9:00 a.m. Meet at the entrance to Southside Shores.
Then, join everyone at the Community Center for hot dogs at noon.
Please plan on contributing to the lunch, if you have a large group attending.
Bring your own drinks and chairs.

Come join the small town of Wortham, Texas for the “4TH ON MAIN” PARADE. Bring your wagon, ride your bike, gator, tractor, ATV, mule, motorcycle, horses, make a float, driver your old car, dress up your pet and/or yourself and walk!
Deadline to register is this Thursday, July 1st.
Parade will be held Saturday, July 3rd beginning at 9:00 a.m.
All parade registrants should meet at Wortham High School to be put in parade line-up order by 8:30 a.m.
REGISTRATION IS FREE!
If you wish to be in the parade, you can pick up and drop off registration forms at Wortham City Hall or Farmers State Bank of Wortham.
Please join us after the parade for fun, community fellowship, hotdogs, chips, water, snow cones and waterslide!
Don’t forget your chairs, towels, and a Patriotic spirit!

SUNDAY, JULY 4TH
The First Baptist Church of Donie will sponsor a FOURTH OF JULY WORSHIP CELEBRATION AND COMMUNITY PICNIC on Sunday, July 4, 2021. The worship service and celebration will begin at 10:00 am followed by the community picnic around 11:00 am. Both events will be outdoor, weather permitting.
The worship service will feature music by Don Thornton of Fairfield and an inspiring message by the pastor, Robert McDougal. The public is invited to bring their lawn chairs and join us as we celebrate our nation’s birthday.
