In other baseball action, the Wortham Bulldogs got the win from Cade McCoslin in a 13-1 win over the Itasca Wampus Cats in Itasca in the first game of a bi-district doubleheader on Friday.
Cash Perez pitched the Bulldogs to a 15-1 in game two over the winless Wampus Cats.
They will take on the Crawford Pirates at Waxahachie High School on Thursday.
The first two games are scheduled as a doubleheader with game three to follow Friday, if necessary.
