Scrambling for Scholarships 2021 was one for the books! The event had a total of twenty three scramble teams, ten 42 teams, and many more supporters and volunteers. “We are yet again blown away by the amount of supporters and donations for our Scholarship Program!” says the Kindness from Case Foundation.
Finishing in Third place with an 18 under is the Citizens State Bank team; players Oscar Chombo, Isaac Tipton, Clay Feller, and Matthew Salinas.
Second place was taken by Bar Custom Fencing with a 20 under; players were Brock Brandl, Colton Carrion, Blaine Bullard, and Collin Quinn.
First place with 21 under went to; Jackie Dillon, Jeff Hughes, Taylor Paul, and Russell Conner. Men’s and Women’s longest drive and closest to the pin were won by Jerianne Terry, Carolyn Price, Matthew Salinas and Russel Conner.
The 50/50 raffle was won by Michelle Adams. The outdoor raffle was won by Carl Mathison.
This year we added a 42 tournament that was played following the golf scramble and awards. 2 round robin brackets were played, then lead to the championship game. Matt Bonner and Nelda Mullenax came out on top!
The money hole on the course was dedicated to the family of Late Trooper Chad Walker. Between the donations on the course and matching by the Kindness from Case foundation, $1,500 was raised!
The participation and sponsorship this year was more than we could have ever imagined!
The scholarship applications are rolling in daily. “We are so thankful to all of you who will make it possible to fulfill the 14 scholarships across the Tri-County area!” said Foundation members.
Thank to Tri-County Golf Club at the Vineyards and all of the staff went above and beyond to help us put on a successful event!
