With temperatures dropping, and roads icing up, Freestone County schools began releasing their students early on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Fairfield ISD
Due to inclement weather, Fairfield parents may start picking students up at 11:30 a.m. and buses will start running at noon.
Teague ISD
Teague ISD will be releasing early today at 12:00 due to weather conditions.
Wortham ISD
Due to the upcoming winter weather, Wortham will release school at 1:00 p.m. today. Parents can come pick up students anytime.

Dew ISD
Our of abundance of caution and safety, Dew school is allowing parents to pick up their children early today, without penalty.
As of 11:00 a.m., there are no plans to close school or have an early release. Buses will run at normal time today.
Basketball Playoffs
The Lady Eagles Basketball game has been rescheduled tonight’s game to Friday, February 12, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. at Bryan High School.
