Freestone Medical Center received an alloment of vaccines for their employees last week. “Our plan is to begin administering the vaccine to employees the week of January 4, 2021,” says CEO John Yeary.

At this time, they do not have any information about when the next round of vaccine will be available, or for whom it will be designated. “Due to the holidays, the entire information flow has certainly slowed down,” said Yeary.

The Texas Department of Health and Humans Services has updated their COVID-19 app, visit dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/ and click Case Count to view to information.

Always remember that the numbers are what were reported from the state, and there are many factors included in counting numbers.
The website states that, “All data are provisional and subject to change.”

Also, make sure and pay attention to the tab. If you check there are a variety of tabs on the website ranging from positive cases in total, recoveries, deaths, actives cases, and much more information.
