Despite COVID-19, the city will still celebrate Halloween by holding Boo in the Park and a haunted house. The drive through trick or treat will be in the park on October 28 from 5:30-7:30 P.M., and the haunted house will be located at Enforcer Educational Services located at 424 TX-75 on October 23, 24, and 30 from 6:30-7:00 P.M.

“We encourage you to decorate your car and dress up,” said the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce on Facebook. “To follow CDC guidelines, we ask you to please remain in your car.”

If the weather is bad, the event will be cancelled.

“The theme of the house is like a haunted emergency room,” sophomore Payton Botehlo. “I get to dress up in scrubs and stuff.”

The Interact Club members will help run the haunted house and take on the role of scare actors. The cost is $3 to get in, but further donations are always appreciated.
