Update: As of now, all Homecoming festivities will be held on Friday, October 30th at 6:00 p.m. Still NO game scheduled at this time.
From Fairfield ISD Superintendent:
We were just informed that Kemp HS has quarantined their football team. Unfortunately, this will impact our scheduled game with them on October 31st (Homecoming).
As of now, the game vs Kemp on October 31st is cancelled and will not be made up.
Coach Bachtel will explore opportunities for another opponent, but as of now, there is not a game scheduled for October 31st.
We will inform you immediately if another game is scheduled.
We will discuss Homecoming activities in the next couple of days and let you know the plan for proceeding.
