Honoring the late Case Robinson, a new mural was unveiled to parents Regina and George Robinson (middle) last week by artist Janie Haydon and business owner Rob Dotson.
The secret is out!
There is a brand new and bright mural in Fairfield, Texas located on the side of Big Daddy’s Detail facing Hwy 84: the Kindness from Case Mural. To get different blogs related to art and painting click here.
Olivia Robinson reached out to us here at The “Times” to let us know that there was a BIG secret underway, not a tiny secret, but an entire mural to surprise her parents, Regina and George Robinson.
Janie Haydon knew Case from being his art teacher, and for over a year, she has wanted to create this.
Thanks to the generosity of Rob Dotson donating a wall, it is now a reality.
She spent three days working on the mural, outside in the Texas heat, and it is stunning. You can feel the love coming through her artwork.
This project became possible through the help of numerous volunteers:
–Rob Dotson of Big Daddy’s Detail- donated a portion of his wall, and a place for the mural and garden
–Janie Marie Haydon – donated her time (three days!), energy, talent, and her love to plan and complete this project
–Sadie Haydon and Ryleigh Lane – assisted Janie in making the garden and mural a reality
–AJ Sandlin of AWS3 Power Washing – donated the skill and use of power washing the wall
–Red Hat Rentals – donated use of scaffolding
–Taylor, Justin, Tye, and Allie Farmer, Bryan and Josey Haydon, Vanessa and Austin Solis, Obie Crook, Taylor Flandry, Capri Lipinski – the many volunteers helped with setting up, cleaning the garden area, painting rocks, and setting up the rock garden
There are plans to add a bench, stepping stones, and even more painted rocks to the “Kindness Garden”, and the community is more than welcome to add their own pieces.
“Kindness. It cost nothing but means everything,” reads a sign posted in the garden.
Make sure you give this beautiful new addition to the community a visit and share the love.
