The July Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month is the FISD Education Foundation.
Their mission is to “partner with the community to provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize innovative opportunities for all students at Fairfield ISD.”
FISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization that uses donations and fundraisers to help further the children’s educations with private grants for a vast variety of projects.
This is all done in excess to any state funding, and the school’s own budget.
Since 2015, they have funded over $57,000 in grants ranging from the Eagle Beats Online to the Eagle Roost Coffee Cart.
