Dear Editor,
I found it very hard to believe that our court system has gotten to the place that it has. I am writing this to thank you, the publisher and staff at Freestone County Times. This kind of good reporting is without getting caught up in small town politics. This is in regards to you front page article on July 1, 2020 featuring defense attorney, prosecutor, judge, and son.
I have heard several people around town talking about how they can take advantage of a supposedly editor mentally ill person.
I hope and pray that you will not get caught up in small town politics and continue your outstanding reporting.
All I have to say to the defense attorney, county attorney, and the judge is shame, shame, shame on you.
