Funeral services for Donna Marie Hargrove, 57, will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Teague. Bro. Scott Matthews will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hargrove passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at the Freestone Medical Center in Fairfield.
She was born in Teague on July 14, 1962, and lived in Teague all of her life. Donna graduated from Teague High School with the class of 1980. She married Mark on December 2, 1983, and shared over thirty-six years of marriage together. Donna loved sports and was a big fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Texas Longhorns. She was also a big supporter of the Teague Lions and Lady Lions and went to many THS sporting events. Mrs. Hargrove loved the outdoors and would rather be outside than inside, fishing, hunting, or just walking. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Teague.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Hargrove of Teague; one daughter, Tiffany Strong & husband Stephen of College Station; six grandchildren, Tullus Strong, Tyson Strong, Silas Strong, Lyric Hargrove, Kaira Hargrove, and Harvey Hargrove; her father, Donald Hartley of Teague; one brother, Leonard Hartley & wife Delores of Dew; two nieces, Melissa Smith & husband Kevin and Elizabeth Jernigan & husband Jake; other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Hargrove was preceded in death by one son, Marcus Hargrove; and her mother, Betty Hartley.
