Dear Editor,

I am writing to ask for help in locating the gentlemen that saved my 2-year-old grandson’s life.

On May 6th about 10:30 in the morning on FM 2547 (Stewards Mill Road), myself along with my daughter, granddaughter and grandson were involved in an ATV accident.  The ATV was a 4-seater utility vehicle that I was teaching my granddaughter to drive, and as we made a turn to return home, the wheel was turned too sharply and too much gas was applied.

My grandson was thrown from the ATV and was on the pavement where the vehicle rolled on top of him, pinning him between the vehicle and road.

After we attempted to move the 1500 lb. ATV of off him with no luck, I began to scream for help.

God sent us help in the form of these gentlemen in a white work truck that ran to help us lift the ATV off of him.

We rushed to the local hospital.  My grandson was then transported to Children’s in Dallas.

He had 5 broken ribs, a bruised lung, a lacerated spleen, and his pelvis is broken in 4 places.

No surgery was needed and within a few weeks, has recovered nicely.

I work in the healthcare field and know that this accident could have been so much worse.

God and his angels protected him and with the quick actions of these unknown gentlemen saved his life.

I know I have very little information to go by, but if anyone has heard of this and might know the men, I would like to personally thank them.

A neighbor said he believed the men were in a white power or utility work truck.

Sincerely, from a blesses and grateful Grandmother

Debbie Turner
