During this unique time, it is best to make sure and keep yourself current with the ongoing response in Freestone County to the worldwide Coronavirus outbreak.
Call before you visit, be it an event, family member, business, etc.
Make sure you follow the CDC’s guideline’s:
–Wash hands for 20 seconds, making sure to rub your entire hand, after leaving a public place, blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, or using the restroom. Visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/images/prevention-handwashing.png to see how to properly wash hands.
–Hand Sanitizer with over Sixty Percent alcohol can be used if soap and water is not available. Make sure you rub your hands together until they are dry.
–Do not touch your hands, eyes, or nose with hands that were not just washed.
–Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or, as a last case scenario, the inside of your elbow.
–Immediately throw your tissue into the trash after using.
–Keep yourself at least six feet away from other people, especially if you are at risk, or around someone who is at risk.
–Stay at home if you are sick, unless you are seeking medical attention.
–Clean dirty surfaces, then disinfect. You can use a solution of five tablespoons of bleach to a gallon of water, alcohol of sixty percent or higher and other EPA-registered household disinfectants.
If you believe you have COVID-19, aka Coronavirus, call your healthcare provider, and follow their advice.
Do Not just show up at the doctor’s office, urgent care, or emergency room without calling ahead, so they may be prepared to treat you properly.
