The theatre at Teague High School was the venue for a live marionette production of The Little Mermaid last week.

It was performed by the Theatre de Marionette Puppetry Arts Company of Dallas to more than 1200 students in second, third, fourth and fifth grades. Freestone County schools participating were Fairfield, Teague, Dew, Wortham and Faith Academy.

The event was sponsored by Trinity Star Arts Council, Community National Bank & Trust and The Fairfield History Club.
