Teague Police Department

Christmas presents from Blue Santa were delivered across Teague, Texas courtesy of the Teague Police Department.

Their toy drive and donations from the community supplied enough toys to help the seventeen families that applied for assistance with forty-six kids.

In addition, citizens let the Police Department know about even more families and children in need of help, and they gladly obliged with giving these children presents as well.

Some families were not at home, but they left cards so the families could go up to the Police Department to get their presents.

“It went really well, we had a lot of fun with it.” Teague Police Chief DeWayne Philpott explained, “They were excited to receive some presents.”

The drive went so well that they have presents to apply towards next years as well.

The officers brought Christmas joy to many children’s homes, including ones who would not have had a single present without the generosity of the Teague Police Department, Teague Citizens, and Blue Santa.
