November rainfall fell somewhat short of normal with only 1.13 inches total. Normal rainfall for November is 3.49 inches. We had nine days with measurable rainfall with a one-day greatest total of 0.25 inch on November 21. Our November rainfall was mostly drizzle with four of the nine days each producing less than 0.10 inch.
Total rainfall for the year now stands at 44.72 inches. Our normal rainfall through November is 38.24 inches which puts us 6.48 inches ahead through November and 2.31 inches above normal for the entire year. Our normal annual rainfall is 42.41 inches.
We had a record dry third quarter but a record wet second quarter helped us out on total rainfall for the year. We have had below normal rainfall for each of the past five months.
November temperatures were about normal with a high of 81 degrees on November 30. We had three days with freezing or below temperatures with a low of 26 degrees on November 12.

Looking ahead to December: December ushers in the beginning of the winter season and is normally our second coldest month of the year. Our normal December rainfall is 4.17 inches.
