It was a grand time at this year’s Christmas In The Parks in Teague, Texas on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
The evening included the official tree lighting on Main Street,
an Open House at the Historic Teague Hotel (at top),
a history lesson at the B&RI Railroad Museum with Benny Walker,
and Christmas music performed by several groups, including Doris McWilliams and Felicia Williams of Kingdom Fellowship Bible Church.
This year, Christmas lights and decorations adorned all three parks in the small town of Teague: the 8th Avenue City Park, the downtown Aycock Memorial Park, and the Brooks Washinton Park on Jefferson.
Families enjoyed visits with Santa, hot cocoa & cookies, carriage rides, and delicious tamales.
What a great year for Christmas!
