On Friday, October 18, the Wortham Varsity Band honored some of their band members for their hard work during the week.
During the half-time activities, the band member of the week, Ben Havens, and the section of the week, the flutes, were announced.
The flute members are Shay Grant, Veronica Gutierrez, Dana Calame, and Briana Betts.
Havens is the drumline captain for the Bulldog Band.
On Friday, November 1, the Wortham Varsity Band honored some of their band members for their hard work during the week.
During the half-time activities, the band member of the week, Senior Jackson Tacker, and the section of the week, the baritones, were announced.
The baritone members are Breckyn Waggoner, Ashilyn Cartwright, Braeden Kennedy, and Isaiah Tull.
On Friday, November 11, the Wortham Varsity Band honored some of their band members for their hard work during the week.
During the half-time activities, the band member of the week, JJ Rojas, and the section of the week, the Battery, were announced.
The Battery members are Ben Havens, Summer Settlemyer, Jacob Heller, Jeremy Rogers, and Michael Chasteen.
The band’s lasthalf-time performance was Thursday, November 14, at the playoff game in Cernterville. The title of their half time show is “In A Heartbeat,” by Luke McMillian.
