There were two major fires over the weekend in Fairfield, Texas.
The first fire happened around 3:00 a.m. Sunday, November 3rd 2019 at 329 Reunion Street.
The entire front of the house was in flames, along with two vehicles, and the neighboring house.
No one was injured although they were in the house when it caught fire according to what could be heard across the scanner.
Fairfield VFD was on scene as well as Teague VFD, Dew VFD, Streetman VFD, Fairfield EMS and Fairfield PD.
The second fire was early in the day on Monday, November 4th 2019.
A barn type building with a shop inside was on fire.
Fairfield VFD was on scene with Teague VFD, Wortham VFD, Dew VFD, and Streetman VFD also responding.
Nobody was injured in this fire.
Make sure you have a smoke detector; they save lives and improve response time.
