The Second Annual “Love Where You Live” Holiday Lamp Post Contest is being hosted by the City of Fairfield and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce this holiday season.
The contest is open to the entire Community: Residents, Businesses, Schools, Clubs, Civic Organizations, and etc.
Lamp posts will be voted on by the community. Look for ballots at local businesses around town.
Be sure to pick your post quickly, if you plan to enter this year’s contest, as there are only 23 available around the Courthouse Square.
Poles must be decorated by Sunday, November 24, and will stay up until Friday, December 27th.
Winners will be announced at the City’s ‘Jingle All the Way’ event on Saturday, December 21st.
Prizes will be given for First ($500), Second ($300), and Third ($200) places. Winners will receive a Gift Card to the local business of their choice.
Applications with design concept and lamp post choice must be turned in no later than November 16th.
