There will be no City Council meeting for the City of Fairfield tonight, October 22, 2019.
Regular meetings of the Fairfield City Council are regularly held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Additional meetings and/or workshops may be scheduled, as needed.
Fairfield Council had their second meeting of October just last week, during a Special Called Meeting on October 15, 2019.
According to the City’s website calendar, the next Regular Session of Fairfield City Council is expected to be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
Meeting agendas are posted 72 hours prior to each meeting, in accordance with Chapter 511 Texas Government Code and the Texas Open Meeting Act.
For the convenience of citizens, meeting agendas are posted on an outside bulletin board at the current City Hall, inside the Conference Center at the fairgrounds in Fairfield, Texas.
Agendas are also posted online at www.fairfieldtexas.com
Regular meetings of the City Council include a “Visitors and Citizens Forum” to allow any person (not posted on the agenda) to speak to the Council. NO formal action can be taken on these items at this time.
Council may ONLY vote and take action on the items specifically posted on meeting agendas.
To get on the agenda and appear before City Council, stop by City Hall to fill out a request form.
