The Cast and Crew of Palestine Community Theatre’s Fall Production of Blithe Spirit is ready to make you laugh. The spirits will haunt the stage of PCT’s historic home, the Texas Theatre in downtown Palestine, on October 18-20 and 25-27.
Laughter ensues as Charles Condomine, a cantankerous novelist looking for material for his next book, calls upon Madame Arcati to perform a séance. She conjours Charles’ first wife, Elvira, and the annoying and insistent spirit delights in causing disarray for Ruth, Charles’ current wife. Come join us for the fun and find out how the story ends.
Tickets, which are $15 for adults and $10 for students 18 and under, are available locally at Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce, Palestine Visitors Center, and Discount Pools or online at www.thetexastheater.com. There will be a complimentary reception for opening night, Friday, October 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. Performances will begin Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 PM at 213 W. Crawford.
