The folks of Rollo Insurance in Fairfield opened their doors last week and showed their Texas hospitality as they celebrated fifteen years of service in Freestone County.
Greeting their clients and the community, the company’s President and CEO, Jason Rollo, was all smiles as he gave a tour of their beautifully decorated building and shared a bit of the history of Rollo (pronounced Rah-Low) Insurance.
“I believe in God, Country and Peach Cobbler,” says Jason, as he talks about small town values and a family-run business that began in his hometown of Lovelady.
The family business, which includes his son, Jackson, a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, has grown to at least fifteen locations in Central and East Texas.
Jason and his wife, B.J. Rollo, have four children and will celebrate their twenty-fifth anniversary in June.
Many of the small town insurance agencies that have joined the Rollo Insurance Group over the year’s represent some of the oldest in Texas.
In Freestone County, that included the former Patterson Insurance, Tri-County Insurance and Williford Company, which according to Fairfield agent Sandy Sikes, was established in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. And was one of the first ones to offer windshield insurance as soon as cars started to become common.
“There is well over a hundred years of history with these agencies,” says Jason Rollo.
Rollo Insurance Group offers insurance options for auto, homeowners, business, farm and ranch, life and health. Their agents are dedicated to helping you find the right coverage at the right price.
