Just received notice that the Budget Workshop scheduled for Fairfield this Thursday, August 15, 2019 has been postponed to Tuesday.
Council members will receive presentations on the following items during the Tuesday, August 20, 2019 workshop:
–Hotel-Motel Funding
–Enterprise Fund (TDCJ)
–General Fund (Parks, Streets)
This is the last budget workshop to be scheduled for the City of Fairfield.
Fairfield’s 2019-2020 Fiscal Year Budget will be presented during a Public Hearing set for Tuesday, September, 2019. At this time, citizens will have the opportunity to express their views on the matter.
A final budget is expected to be approved during a meeting set for Tuesday, September 24, 2019.
Regular meetings of the Fairfield City Council are set for the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
With the closure of the Fairfield City Hall building, due to air quality issues, Council meetings are currently being held at the Civic Center (Green Barn).
Meeting agendas are posted 72 hours prior to each meeting, in accordance with Chapter 511 Texas Government Code and the Texas Open Meeting Act.
