Celebrating with 101 cupcakes and 101 pieces of chocolate, the Fairfield community attended a birthday party for Odie Housewright, who previously worked with Freestone Senior Services until she retired at the age of 89.
Mrs. Housewright (pictured with City Secretary Misty Richardson) turned 101 years young on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
She was born in Mountain View, Arkansas in 1918 and has been a resident of this community since 1984.
During the birthday celebration at Fairview Healthcare, Fairfield Mayor Kenny Hughes signed a proclamation in her honor with “sincere congratulations and best wishes for many more happy years.”
