This year’s Home & Garden Show will showcase the best of Freestone County, Texas.
Held during the Freestone County Fair & Rodeo, this show features Art, Baked Goods, Food Preservations, Horticulture, Needlework & Crafts, Photography, Quilts, and Sewing. Get more info about commercial grow equipment
Entries were checked in on Monday, June 10th from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Green Barn Civic Center at the fairgrounds in Fairfield, Texas. We’ll have a variety of Garden & Animal Structures that you can take pictures with and have fun.
Judging started at 3:00 p.m. with the Show opening to the public around 6:30 p.m.
Several activities are planned at the Home & Garden Show throughout County Fair Week. Make plans to attend:
Monday, June 10th
–Check-in for all entries between 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
–Judging 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Civic Center closed to public for judging)
–Civic Center will reopen from about 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
–Silent Auction for baked goods in the youth age groups from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 11th
–Civic Center opens 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
–Last day for Silent Auction for youth group baked goods. Winners can start picking up their items at 6:00 p.m.
–10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Courtney Taylor book reading for ages 3-7 years old.
–1:00 p.m. Kitchen Craft Waterless Cookware Demo.
Wednesday, June 12th
–Civic Center opens 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
–Silent Auction winners pick-up of baked goods.
–10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. book reading and activity for youth.
–1:00 p.m. Kitchen Craft Waterless Cookware Demo.
–3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bee presentation
Thursday, June 13th
–Civic Center open 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
–10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. book reading and activity for ages 3-10 years old.
Friday, June 14th
–Civic Center open 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
–10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. book reading and activity for ages 3-10 years old.
Saturday, June 15th
–1:00 to 3:00 p.m. pick-up for all entries.
