“WE CAN SURE USE IT,” said Fairfield Fire Chief Matt Foree (middle) as he accepted a $750 donation from John Taylor (left) and Ty Pate (right) of Calpine. According the Chief Foree, Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department responding to 16 calls in four hours during the latest storms and flooding. Fairfield VFD meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. for those interested in volunteering. The community is invited to a BBQ Dinner and Cake Auction fundraiser on Saturday, June 1st beginning at 5:00 p.m.
