WHAT ARE THE ODDS FOR TWO FISHERMEN, in the same boat, to each catch a fish that weighs exactly the same? It happened at the May 21st Tuesday Night Bass Tournament on Lake Fairfield. J.D. Hancock of Teague (top) and Mike Mabry of Fairfield (below) each landed a 5.29 pound largemouth bass. Thirteen participants entered the event with Hancock and Mabry splitting the first and second place combined money of $260. A total of three fish were brought to the scales at weigh-in.
