Lake Fairfield Tuesday Night Bass Tourney Results

There was a large group of anglers competing in the April 14th Lake Fairfield Tuesday Night Bass Tournament as 20 anglers competed in the three hour contest. Eight anglers were successful in landing a keeper measuring at least 18 inches.

  A frequent winner at the event and taking first place money of $240 was Shane Pate of Centerville with a 5.62 pound fish. Cory Campbell of Fairfield landed a bass weighing 5.18 pounds and took home second place winnings of $160.

  Others weighing in fish were Colby Karr of Centerville, 4.74; Spencer Fair of Streetman, 4.63; Jeff Karr of Madisonville, 4.30; Paul Cobb of Fairfield, 3.42; Mike Mabry of Teague, 3.20; and Billy Patterson of Fairfield, 2.87.

  Entry fee for the 2019 events is $20 per person with 100% of the entry fees being paid back to the winning fishermen. Payout on a field of 4-10 entries is 100% of the pot for first place. A field of 11-20 participants will pay two places with a 60%-40% payout for first and second place bass. When 21 or more anglers participate, three places will be paid with a 50%-30%-20% payout for the top three heaviest fish.

  The weekly Tuesday night tournament is conducted out of the front boat ramp at Lake Fairfield. Registration is taken from 5:00-5:25 p.m. Tournament hours are 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. For more information, contact Paul Cobb at 903-879-0422.
