TEAGUE’S HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD LANDMARK comes down at the City Park on Monday, April 29, 2019 under the direction of Bobby Brown Dirt Construction.

The pavilion had been closed off since last Fall due to unsafe conditions.

After receiving a structural engineering report in February, the Park Committee recommended the building be torn down to make way for a new facility.

Teague Council later approved the $15,500 demolition bid with stipulations to preserve certain features if they could be salvaged.
