OUR TOWN WAS THE TOPIC OF CONVERSATION as last week’s Rotary Club meeting.
Our Town committee founder, Karen Leidy (middle) was the guest of Rotarian Donna Tyus (left), and welcomed by Lynn Simpson – President.
This citizen’s group began with a community survey and an invitation to join in helping to promote Fairfield to out-of-town visitors.
Recently, the group selected the hashtags #TheRealFairfieldTx for use online with videos, pictures and comments that feature all the great things about our hometown.
Local pharmacist Vance Oglesbee is credited for the winning hashtag idea.
