The Pineywoods Home Health Care Services will sponsor a free luncheon in Palestine for all East Texas veterans at noon on Friday, April 12.
The luncheon is being hosted by the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and the Disabled America Veterans (DAV). It will be held in the DAV/VVA Hall at 927 Gardner Drive, Palestine.
In addition to a good meal, the Pineywoods Health Care representative and a Veterans Service Officer will provide information and answer questions on current veterans benefit programs, tips of filing for benefits, and claims processing.
The DAV/VVA Hall is located behind the Mattern Tire Co. on North SH-155 in Palestine, Texas.
All veterans and family members from the East Texas area are invited to attend.
