A visitation for Justin Cavin, 42, will be held on Thursday, with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home. No other services are planned at this time.
Justin Cavin was born on April 26, 1976 in Fort Scott, Kansas to parents, David & Laura Wood Cavin. He was a graduate of Teague High School Class of ’95. Justin enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduation. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and was a marksman instructor. Justin loved to shoot guns, hunt and fish.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Kane Cavin of Teague; his parents, David & Laura Cavin of Teague; one brother, John Cavin; maternal grandmother, Norma Wood; four aunts, Sheila Haynes, Sandy Mullins & husband Danny, Debbie Wood, and Merl Wood; five uncles, Robert Cavin, Wes Cavin, Roger Cavin & wife Diana, Jim Wood & wife Darlene, Joe Wood & wife Charla; numerous cousins and friends.
Mr. Cavin was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert & Virginia Cavin; and maternal grandfather, James William Wood, Sr.
