The Fairfield Lions Club wishes to thank everyone who contributes aluminum cans to their collection site at FM 488 and Main Street in Fairfield.
Monies accumulated from sales of the aluminum are used to purchase glasses for FISD students and adults that qualify.
There is a problem with non-aluminum cans, waste and trash off all kinds. The club must go through each bag to ensure only aluminum products are included or there will be a penalty at the recycling center.
