Fairfield Junior High took home First Place again this year, with a total of 1,184.8 points at District UIL Competition held December 11th and 13th in Rusk. Competing at the meet were Fairfield, Palestine, Rusk, Mexia, and Madisonville schools.

FJH students competed in 18 categories, including One Act Play.

The play, Into the Fog, was awarded first place with 58 points. Madisonville placed second with 28 points.

Madisonville garnered second place overall with 797.8 points. Rusk came in third with 783 points, Palestine at 441.3, and Mexia with 319 points.
