Tonight’s Fairfield City Council meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
This was a regularly scheduled meeting, as Fairfield City Council meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
Twelve items were on the night’s agenda, including:
–Spending of Hotel/Motel monies, at the request of Councilman Jason Bosley, who had previously gone to social media to voice his concerns about the City’s proper use of the funds for Christmas events.
–Final report on the Internal Audit of the Fairfield Police Department to be presented by Mike Alexander of Lion Leadership Development Institute.
Notices of City Council meetings are posted on the bulletin board on the outside of the Municipal Building (City Hall) at 222 South Mount Street in Fairfield, Texas.
Meeting agenda notices are posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding scheduled time of each meeting, in accordance with Texas Open Meeting Act.
