An Open House, and the introduction of a new vet and vet tech, took place Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Doctor Doug Sanford’s Animal Clinic in Fairfield, Texas.

Tours of the facilities were given and Santa came for pictures with both his human and animal fans.

Keep in mind that your dog may feel anxious staying in a foreign place so placing her in a small, enclosed area may not be the best idea. Crate-free pet boarding is ideal in making pets feel more at home. The working staff at boarding kennels and hosts should always have a pet-friendly attitude to put even the most anxious dogs at ease.

A sitter listed on Rover will offer pet services in the comfort of their home, which is often preferable for anxious dogs. However, just as with a facility-based sitter, your dog will have to be trained  to be in the crate and be handled in it to ensure he doesn’t startle, bark or escape. For dogs that are house-trained, we will provide you with a crate to be picked up from their home.
