This weekend, members of the community will be decorating the lamp posts surrounding the Courthouse Square in Fairfield, Texas.
City of Fairfield is hosting its 1st Annual Holiday Lamp Post Contest, and winners will be determined by the community. Look for ballots at local businesses around town.
The decorated poles will stay up until Friday, December 28th.
Winners will be announced at the City’s ‘Jingle All the Way’ event on Saturday, December 15th.
Prizes will be given for First ($500), Second ($300), and Third ($200) places. Winners will receive a Gift Card to the local business of their choice.
