Each year, the community of Donie celebrates Thanksgiving with a community Thanksgiving dinner and this year is no exception. The Fifth Annual Community-Wide Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Sunday afternoon, November 18th at the Donie Community Center. The meal and program will begin at 5:00 pm and the entire community of Donie is invited to join in the celebration. Once again, the Donie Bank, Turner Feed and Fertilizer, and the Donie Water Works will join with the First Baptist Church in serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal to the residents of Donie, Texas.
