Hay Show October 30th

Freestone, Leon, Limestone and Anderson counties will be hosting a Multi County Hay show on October 30th in Palestine, Texas.  Event will be held at the Ben E. Keith Meeting Room located at 2019 W. Oak Street.

Even if you have not entered the Hay Show, you are encouraged to attend.  Topics to be discussed are Economics of producing Hay and Winter Pasture Planting possibilities.

Speakers for the program are:

–Dr. Jason Johnson, Assoc. Professor and Extension Economist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Stephenville Research Center

–Dr. Monte Rouquette, Texas A&M Regents Fellow and Professor of Forage Physiology, Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Overton, Texas

For attendees, 1 CEU will be offered, 1 hour General will be awarded to those with a TDA Chemical Applicators License.
