First Responders of Fairfield were honored at a dinner sponsored by Jones Chapel Church, First Baptist Church, and Alpha Omega Church on October 19, 2018 at the Christian Life Center at the First Baptist Church.
On hand and leading the dinner were Greeter, Muriel Morton and Master of Ceremonies, Ralph Billings.
Payers and blessing were given by Elder Conrell Lockett of Jones Chapel United Methodist church.
The National Anthem was led by Akewa Tieman.
Words of encouragement were given by Pastor Leon Thomas of First Baptist Church, Dale Hergett of Kirvin Baptist Church, Amber and Andrew Weitner of New Life Church, Elder Conrell Lockett of Jones Chapel, Pantaleon Rios of Alpha Omega, and Scott Grow of First United Methodist Church of Fairfield.
A special presentation of a police officer protected by an angel was given to Chief Kenny Bulger and the Fairfield Police Department.
