The Freestone County Democratic Party will hold a Political Rally on Thursday, October 4, 2018. It will be held at the Teague Community Center, 511 Main Street, Teague, TX, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of the Candidate Forum is to give Freestone County voters an opportunity to hear and discuss the issues of importance to them in this election. There will be a number of candidates both local and state wide in attendance.
Confirmed candidates thus far are:
–Rick Kennedy, candidate for US Representative, District 17
–Wesley Ratcliff, candidate for State Representative, District 8
–Pam Whitt, candidate for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2
–(Representative for) Meg Walsh, candidate for State Senator, District 5
–(tentative) Kathy Cheng, candidate for Justice, Supreme Court, Place 6
