Last Friday, September 28, 2018 the Wortham Bulldog Band performed during the homecoming halftime activities at the varsity football game.
During halftime, the clarinets were honored as section of the week (Pictured at Top: Michaela Zapien and JJ Rojas), and Nick Hergett was recognized as band member of the week (Pictured at Left).
These students were identified by their hard work during morning, after school, and in class work on their show music and marching. Their next performance will be at the next varsity football game in Frost on October 12th.
The community is invited to come support the Bulldog Band and experience their UIL show entitled “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.”
The band is under the direction of Mr. Kevin Russell and drum major Kat McKeand.
