Homecoming festivities begin next week for Wortham High School students and alumni.
Mark these dates and don’t miss the fun and fellowship:
—Wednesday, September 26th will feature at Pep Rally beginning at 7:30 in the Gym, followed by a Bonfire at 8:00 in the field to the left of WHS (ditch behind Wren Field). **Please watch Facebook & Instagram for any changes**
—Friday, September 28th is homecoming night! Pep Rally on the historic brick streets of downtown Wortham begins at 2:30 p.m.
Pre-Game starts at 7:00 p.m.
The game, vs. Cross Roads, begins at 7:30 p.m.
At halftime, there will be the presentation of Mr. and Miss WHS and the introduction of the reigning Ex-Students Queen, as well as the recognition of classes ending in ‘8.’
After the game, the Chamber of Commerce building will be open for socializing and includes Blue Belles 50th Reunion.
—Saturday, September 29th includes a visit to the Wortham High School museum in the administration building prior to the Business Meeting, which begins at 10:00 a.m.
Queen’s Tea will follow with refreshments.
The parade starts at 12:30 at the high school and ends downtown with festivities.
