Teresa Nelson, charged with Abandon Endangerment of a Child by Criminal Negligence, at State Jail Felony, has had her case dismissed.
The Oakwood woman was indicted for having an unrestrained child in the front seat of her vehicle.
Due to Ms. Nelson’s medical issues, custody of the child was given to Ms. Nelson’s father in a Tarrant County Court.
“We held on to our case over Ms. Nelson until that procedure was accomplished,” says District Attorney Brian Evans. “We agreed to dismiss the case once we had confirmation that the child was going to be taken care of by someone else.”
Defense Attorney A. Oliver Hassibi of Fort Worth represented Ms. Nelson.
