Four people were transported to area hospitals following a wreck Monday evening, June 18th.
Just before 6:00 p.m. that evening, reports came in of a white pickup truck running off the road and hitting a home located on Highway 84.

According to a DPS Traffic Report, the vehicle was traveling west on Highway 84 at an unsafe speed for the weather conditions. The roadway was wet due to rain.

The driver of the vehicle lost control going around the big curve just before the train trestle just west of Teague, and ran into the log house, causing substantial damage to the structure.

The four injured persons were transported from the scene via ambulance and helicopter.
Freestone County DPS Trooper Matthew Poole responded to the accident.
