2018 Horse Halter Project Show

These beauties strutted their stuff, as their handlers were all smiles for the judges during this year’s Horse Halter Project Show.

Participants walked away with several buckles and ribbons during the event held during County Fair Week on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

Winners include:

 

–Registered aged mares (5 and over):

First Place – Josie Henson of Fairfield 4-H,

Second Place – Raegan Emmons of Fairfield FFA,

Third Place – Lily Steward of Fairfield 4-H.

 

–Grade geldings:

First Place – Maci Henderson of Wortham 4-H,

Second Place – Savanna Thomas of Dew 4-H,

Third Place – Lily Steward of Fairfield 4-H.

 

–Overall Winners:

Grand Champion Mare – Josie Henson of Fairfield 4-H

 

Reserve Champion Mare – Raegan Emmons of Fairfield FFA

 

Grand Champion Gelding – Maci Henderson of Wortham 4-H

 

Reserve Champion Gelding – Savanna Thomas of Dew 4-H

 

Junior Showmanship at halter – Lily Steward of Fairfield 4-H

 

Senior Showmanship at halter – Raegan Emmons of Fairfield FFA
