Summer is here, and activities are jumping at Fairfield Lake State Park.
–Rise n Shine Hike
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – June 16
Join a Ranger for a morning hike to help you start the day. Meet at the Nature Trail Head.
This will be about a two-mile hike. Bring water and comfortable shoes.
Friendly dogs on leash are permitted.
Not suitable for strollers.
–Camo Critters and Plants
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. – June 16
Learn all about sneaky snakes and peculiar plants that you might find in the park. Program will last about 30 minutes.
Meet at the Volleyball Field in the Cooks Ferry Camping Loop.
–Backyard Bass
10:00 – 11:00 a.m. – June 23
Are you ready to fish?
Join Ranger Kate to learn all you need to know about being a responsible angler, while having fun!
Meet at the Volleyball Field in the Cooks Ferry Camping Loop.
–International Style Archery Class
2:00 – 3:00 p.m. – June 23
International Style Archery Class is designed to introduce target based archery.
Ranger Tim will walk you through the course of the proper ways to handle bow and arrows.
All bows and arrows are supplied. Ages 10 and up.
Must have adult present to participate.

Daily Kayak & Paddleboard Rentals
Kayaks and Paddleboards are available to rent from Paddle EZ in the Day Use Area.
Easy is the word. Rentals may be done, right from your smartphone.
Simply visit paddleez.com online to rent equipments at several locations, including our own state park.
Maximum weight for rentals are 225 pounds for paddleboards, 400 pounds combined for 2-person kayaks.
Life jackets are provided.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and those under 30 pounds are not permitted.

About the Park:
Located northeast of Fairfield, Fairfield Lake State Park is set along the shoreline of a 2,400-acre lake.
Entrance fees are $4 for adults per day. Children 12 and under admitted free of charge. (Normal entry fees apply for all events)
