Next Recycle Event is May 26

 

The April 28, 2018 One Stop Recycle Drop was a success thanks to all the wonderful recyclers in our community!

Collections included:

–25 pair of eye glasses to be donated to the Lions Club

–5429 pounds of electronics to URT

–20 gallons of batteries

–700 pounds of glass

–800 pounds of textiles for donation

–6.78 tons of paper, cardboard, plastic to Waste Connections, Inc

Thank you to all our volunteers from the JH and HS Interact Club, Angela Oglesbee with the Rotary Club, Elizabeth Partain, Jason Scott, Sue Casey, Russell Keaton, Coach Worley, Jeannie Keeney and Gary & Pat Wiggins.

We would like to also thank the following businesses for providing supplies: NRG Energy- Limestone Plant, Baker Hughes and Custom Hose.

Saturday, May 26, 2018 is monthly recycle day in Fairfield, Texas.  Recycled items will be accepted from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the FHS Bus Loop on Post Oak Road.

Acceptable monthly items include paper, cardboard, tin, aluminum cans, plastic & glass (please remove lids from glass and separate glass from other items).
