Fairfield Soccer FC’s 10U Dominator team went to Waxahachie Invitational Soccer Tournament April 28th and 29th.

The team played 2 games on Saturday against Freestone County Real Madrid and Waxahachie Strikers.  They beat Freestone County 8-0 and Waxahachie 5 – 2.

They finished first day and preliminaries in 2nd place and had to play Freestone County again, beating them to go onto the quarter finals against Tri County Swat.

Tri County Swat was a great team that played 12U all season long. The Dominators lost to them by 2 points in a game full of great defense, awesome plays, and some amazing coaching.

This sent them into the bracket to play Desoto Tornadoes; a team that has been together for years and full of experience on the field and with age.

Dominators is a team made up of mostly 2009 players with only 2 – 2008 players and 2 true 8U players.

The teams they played were all 2008 teams but they certainly held their own and fought hard.

Thanks to the coaches Veronica Miller and Jason Scott for the time they spent to take these kids to gain the experience that they did.

Thanks also to all the parents and kids who love the game so much that it makes coaching and sacrificing well worth it.
